Cameron affirms partnership with Church
Following his 2011 pronouncement (debunked here):-
We are a Christian country, and we should not be afraid to say so
David Cameron has said essentially the same thing again (but reported as if it were something new):-
I believe we should be more confident about our status as a Christian country
Britain is not a Christian country, because there is no such thing as a Christian country. People are Christian (or otherwise); countries cannot be. The very notion of a “Christian country” is quite simply nonsense.
Whether or not Britain is a Christian country is not the issue; the issue is whether or not the Christian assertion “God exists” is true. It is not.
